Resources
If you don't have skills such as writing, speaking, or an understanding of the political process, you will struggle to get involved in politics. SPEAK provides programming to help social workers gain the resources needed to become more involved in the political process.
Engagement
While access to resources helps explain why a person may or may not participate in politics, the person's level of interest in becoming involved also plays a key role in their participation. SPEAK works to better engage social workers in political process - increasing their interest and levels of engagement.

Many times, for people to become more politically engaged, they need to be asked!
